Recognized by Measurement Canada for Watthour Testing.

MET Laboratories, Inc. has become the first organization to be recognized by Measurement Canada under the new program RT-01 Conditions and Administrative Requirements for the Recognition of Test Results from ISO 17025 accredited Test Facilities.
This recognition from Measurement Canada allows MET Laboratories to test previously approved electricity meters which have been modified and are being re-submitted for approval purposes. This is the first time that Measurement Canada has recognized an outside organization for adjunct testing service.
The scope of this recognition consists of energy accuracy testing of electricity meters for Measurement Canada's approval process, as required by "LMB-EG-07, Specifications for Approval of Type of Electricity Meters, Instrument Transformers and Auxiliary Devices." This recognition became effective September 12, 2007.
