Ted Osinski appointed Director of MET Labs RFID Program

MET Laboratories, Inc. is proud to announce it has appointed Ted Osinski, as its Director of RFID Test and Certification Services. Osinski, joins the company from EPCglobal US, the United States affiliate of EPCglobal, Inc., the world recognized international leader in the development of industry-driven standards for Electronic Product Code (EPC) to support Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for today's marketplace.

Ted Osinski has been involved in development and deployment of emerging technologies throughout his career. They included the early document management and workflow system, OCR, object oriented technologies, XML and distributed Internet applications.
His background includes retail, financial services, DOD, software development and consulting. As VP of Electronic Commerce Technology, he was responsible for development of the first GS1 B2B standards. He started and facilitated EPCglobal Software Action Group and contributed to several specifications. Ted initiated and managed highly recognized EPCglobal Inc. Hardware and Software Certification programs. He also created a worldwide accreditation program that accredits performance test centers.
He holds a B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Computer Studies from the University of Glamorgan (UK) and MBA in Information Systems from Farleigh Dickinson University(US).
