MET Baltimore expands Wireless Lab and upgrades SAR capability

MET
Laboratories Baltimore has finished construction
on a dedicated Wireless lab. This lab houses two
new screen rooms plus an upgraded SAR chamber. Not
only has the SAR chamber undergone a facelift, it
has also received an upgrade in the form of the
IXA-020 ‘Fast’ Amplifier for the SARA2
system. This will allow SAR scans to be completed
in half the time. Further, a new probe has been
added extending our capabilities to 6 GHz. Now for
the convenience of our wireless customers, SAR,
WIFI, Bluetooth, and RFID are under one roof.
