On
August 1, 2002, MET Laboratories took over the Santa Clara
testing facility formerly operated as BABT and TUV Product
Service. This facility was originally the corporate test facility
for Seimens. MET’s agreement with TUV provides for a
smooth transition of the facility, equipment, customer information
and selected staff.
The BABT/TUV site in Santa Clara provides MET customers with
a vast array of additional wireline and fiber
optic test capabilities for US and global compliance.
The site has extensive equipment and experienced staff to
perform these tests. In addition, MET will be adding additional
equipment and training additional staff in order to broaden
the scope and depth of the former facility. The testing capabilities
that are currently available at the site are as follows:

an experienced Customer Service Representative is transferring
from MET’s Baltimore corporate headquarters to the Santa Clara
facility to support current and new customers and to ensure
that all projects will be managed with the dedication and
