Entry Level Electrical Engineer - Product Safety Lab - Baltimore, MD

Our location in Baltimore, MD is currently seeking entry-level electrical engineers for our Product Safety laboratory. The engineer will be responsible for performing a number of tests on new electronics to country requirements that are requested by our customers. This is a very hands-on position that will require the candidate to interact with a number of different customers on many different levels.
Qualifications
- A BSEE or a similar degree in a closely related field with 0-3 years experience is strongly desired.
- Applicants with experience with another NRTL and experience with information technology, machinery and hazardous location equipment will have a better chance of success.
- The candidate should posses excellent work habits, attention to detail and be able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must work well in a team environment and also independently with little supervision.
- The candidate must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, concepts, ideas, and routine details to various levels of technical and non-technical engineering and management personnel.

Wireless Engineer w/experience - Baltimore, MD
Our location in Baltimore, MD is currently seeking an experienced wireless compliance testing engineer. The engineer will be responsible for performing compliance testing on a range of products for both the domestic and international markets. This is not an entry level position as the candidate is expected to have a diverse EMC and wireless testing background.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, electronics, wireless or RF engineering preferred or related/equivalent with a minimum 3 years experience.
- Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations for both intentional and unintentional radiators
- Knowledge of ETSI radio testing requirements preferred
- Attention will be given to candidates that have recent experience with EMC compliance testing
- Knowledge of and experience utilizing test instrumentation including, but not limited to, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Harmonic Mixers and Power meters.
