RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
- Supports and / or installs software applications/operating systems.
- Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
- Sets up communication links with client systems, resolves connectivity and networking issues.

Position: Electrical Engineers – (EMC) Electro Magnetic Compatibility Laboratory
Location: Santa Clara, CA and Union City, CA
Our offices in Santa Clara and Union City, CA are currently seeking Electrical EMC engineers, dedicated team players who could perform EMC testing efficiently in a timely manner. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Perform EMC testing and document results to meet overall laboratory needs
- Coordinate with Customers and the sales on daily basis, to provide best customer services to our clients
- Help the fellow EMC engineers in the execution of daily testing/work in the lab
- Engage in problem solving activities to address product emissions and immunity issues. This will involve identification of root-cause and solution implementation and verification
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Clear Understanding of EMC standards (FCC pt 15, CISPR, ETSI, GR1089 etc.)
- Familiarity and hands on-experience with emissions and Immunity testing, including Conducted RF Emissions/ Immunity, Radiated RF Emissions/ Immunity, Conducted Transient Emissions, Magnetic Field Emissions
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with ESD testing
- Knowledge and familiarity with EMI Instrumentation (i.e., receivers, power amplifiers, TWT amplifiers, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- California Driver's license with a clean record
Desirable Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 0 to 3 years experience in an EMC Laboratory

Our location in Baltimore, MD is currently seeking an electrical engineer for our Meter Accuracy Laboratory. The engineer will be responsible for performing a number of tests on new and legacy solid-state electronic smart meters with AMR and AMI technologies to various requirements. Field Engineer/Inspector – Product Safety Lab (Baltimore, MD)
Our Product Safety Lab in Baltimore, MD has an immediate opening for a Field Engineer/Inspector with a background in product safety standards. A self –motivated individual with a desire to enter into an exciting career field with a well established Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory is required.
Responsibilities of Product Safety Field Engineer/Inspector:
- After a brief training period, the successful candidate will serve as a "follow up" inspector and perform audits of manufacturer's facilities.
- Candidate will also perform testing and evaluation of electrical products to National/ and International Standards.
- Candidate will interpret standards and evaluate products for product safety.
- Extensive travel (domestic and international) and flexible work schedules are required (60% plus).
Requirements for Product Safety Field Engineer/Inspector:
- This position requires a strong electrical background and understanding of electrical systems.
- This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills as the candidate will interact with a number of different customers on many different levels. Multi-lingual speaking skills are a huge plus!
- Candidates possessing a background in maintenance and installation of electrical equipment including CNC equipment and heavy commercial and industrial workplace equipment will be considered.
- Candidates with a Masters Electrician License will be considered.
- A.A. degree, BSEE or equivalent desired, although not required.
- Experience in the product safety field is a plus, but will consider entry level position for the right person.
