We have immediate opportunities for Technicians and Project Engineers to join the Wireless group as part of our dynamic and fast paced Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) team in Union City, CA. After a hands-on training period, new employees would be expected to perform EMC testing on wireless technologies including CDMA, GSM, Bluetooth, MIMO, WLAN, UWB, Zigbee, and RFID.

Electrical Engineer EMC - ( Union City, CA)
Our Union City, CA EMC lab is currently seeking Electrical EMC engineers, dedicated team players who could perform EMC testing efficiently in a timely manner. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Perform EMC testing and document results to meet overall laboratory needs
- Coordinate with Customers and the sales on daily basis, to provide best customer services to our clients
- Help the fellow EMC engineers in the execution of daily testing/work in the lab
- Engage in problem solving activities to address product emissions and immunity issues. This will involve identification of root-cause and solution implementation and verification
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Clear Understanding of EMC standards (FCC pt 15, CISPR, ETSI, GR1089 etc.)
- Familiarity and hands on-experience with emissions and Immunity testing, including Conducted RF Emissions/ Immunity, Radiated RF Emissions/ Immunity, Conducted Transient Emissions, Magnetic Field Emissions
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with ESD testing
- Knowledge and familiarity with EMI Instrumentation (i.e., receivers, power amplifiers, TWT amplifiers, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- California Driver's license with a clean record
Desired Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years experience in an EMC Laboratory
- Detailed knowledge of EMC phenomena and theory
- Familiarity with world wide EMC standards

Our Product Safety Lab Union City, California has an immediate opening for an experienced Product Safety Engineer.
Principal Responsibilities/Duties:
- Interpret safety standards and apply the requirements to products under investigation.
- Create and implement test procedures.
- Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
- Prepare certification reports and related documents.
- Provide technical oversight to product safety engineers and technicians
- Review work prepared by other staff engineers
Minimum Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be familiar with the process of product safety certification, evaluation and testing.
- Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills, being able to both interface well with clients, and write certification reports.
- The candidate must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Applicants with experience with another NRTL and experience with information technology, machinery and hazardous location equipment will have a better chance of success.
Minimum Education Requirements:
A BSEE or a similar degree in a closely related field is strongly desired. Some travel and flexible work schedules may be necessary from time to time.
